NEW YORK BLUES: The Beat Goes On- Bill 'Howl-n-Madd' Perry, Fiona Boyes

Greetings Blues fans! This was pretty brutal week here in New York as far as the weather goes. I am no fan of 90+ degrees combined with high humidity. Still haven't found a use for that. I was hoping to catch Lucky Peterson and have some photos of the show but circumstances beyond my control prevented that. I did catch Robben Ford but due to a 'no photography' policy put in place by Robben I won't have any photos of that show to post. Hey, can't win 'em all!

This week I have posted photos of Bill 'Howl-n-Madd' Perry, Fiona Boyes, and a few of the very talented Ruthie Foster. Please check out their sites and their music.
I had the pleasure of seeing Ruthie on a bill with Robben Ford earlier this year and while I knew nothing about her at the time I really enjoyed her set, as did the crowd. Great voice on this young woman.
