Blues Harp Blowout by Nelson Onofre

Greetings blues fan! Today I am featuring photos from Mark Hummel's Blues Harp Blowout,
which featured Mark Hummel, Lee Oskar, Willie 'Big Eyes' Smith, Billy Branch and Dennis
Greunling. There was also an appearance onstage by a 10 year old blues harmonica player
named Joshua. I think he is the student of Dennis Gruenling and let me tell you, the kid can
blow!

The show was held at the BB King Blues Club in New York on Oct. 5, 2009. This was the 19th
edition of this event so it has been going on for a while now. BB King's was the place to be for lovers of blues harp. Each performer got ample time to showcase his blues harp skills. Judging from the crowd's reaction the event was a smashing success.
Once again I want to thank Mr. John Seroff of BB King's.
