Chicago Blues Fest Recomendations - dateline CHICAGO.

Chicago Blues Fest

The CHICAGO BLUES FEST is just around the corner.

June 12-14th to be exact.

There are five, count them, five large stages spaced around the corner of Jackson and Columbus. This is the world’s largest and free blues fest and over 600,000 blues fans are expected to attend. I recommend that you DO NOT MISS the following acts:

Mississippi Juke Joint Stage Friday June 12 @ 2:00-3:00 pm - Maxwell Street Revisited: featuring Dancin’ Perkins, Iceman Robinson, Smilin’ Bobby, Bobby Too Tough and Frank “Lil Sonny” Scott Jr. ( Writers note: This is the 6th year in a row for Smilin’ Bobby)

Gibson Guitar Crossroads Saturday 13th 1:45-3:00 pm- Cyrus Hayes & Lady Lee. (Writers note: if there is an heir apparent to Koko Taylor it has got to be Lady Lee).

SEE YOU THERE!
