Hubert Sumlin in New York CityGreetings blues fans! How's 2010 treating you so far? This week I am submitting photos from the Howlin' for Hubert show at BB King's back in Nov. 2009. Hubert being Hubert Sumlin. Check out J. Blake's review of that show here. I enjoyed the show because it gave me the chance to see this living legend. Having said that I pretty much agree with Blake's review of the show. The turnout for the show was quite good. Guitarists that have raved about Hubert include Jimi Hendrix, Jimmy Page, Keith Richards and Eric Clapton. Nice to see that Hubert is still out there and continuing to spread the blues message. And yes, he sure looks like a blues man!
