Greetings blues fans! This week I am featuring photos of William "Big Bill" Morganfield. For those that don't know William Morganfield is the son of McKinley Morganfield, a.k.a. Muddy Waters. Big Bill is self-taught on guitar and in 1999 his debut album, Rising Son, was released. Big Bill was named Best New Blues Artist by W. C. Handy Awards. He has toured extensively over the past 10+ years and all of his albums have reached number one on Living Blues Radio Charts. Not too shabby! I enjoyed Big Bill's show and would encourage you to catch him when he heads your way. C'mon now, this is Muddy's son, check him out!
